Not every used Hyundai qualifies for certification. To be eligible, a vehicle must be with fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer.

 

Every vehicle that meets those criteria goes through a 173-point mechanical, safety, and appearance inspection performed by a factory-trained Hyundai technician. All open safety recalls must be completed before the vehicle can be listed or sold. You also get a complimentary CARFAX Vehicle History Report included with every certified vehicle.

 

Since they are more like new vehicles, financing terms are often more favorable with certified vehicles than regular used cars.  Apply for financing.

Warranty Coverage That Comes With Every Certified Vehicle

One of the clearest benefits of buying a Hyundai Certified Used Vehicle is the warranty package.

• Comprehensive limited warranty: Remainder of the original 5-year/60,000-mile coverage, from the original in-service date

• Powertrain limited warranty: 10 years or 100,000 miles from the original in-service date, with a deductible per repair visit

• Hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicle battery warranty: 10 years or 100,000 miles from the original in-service date

It's important to note that all warranty coverage transfers from the original in-service date, not the date you purchase the vehicle.
