Under the hood, the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N is powered by a 276-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 289 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels. Transmission options include a short-throw six-speed manual gearbox and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that will add paddle shifters. Hyundai Elantra N models armed with the eight-speed DCT transmission feature an overboost function that will increase power to 286 horsepower for a short period of time.
