Hyundai Sonata Control When you spend a lot of time behind the wheel, you tend to become an expert in seat comfort. So when Hyundai owners told our seat engineers — yes, we have engineers dedicated solely to seat design — that they weren't getting quite enough leg support, we listened. We did a lot of calculations and experiments, created and tested a number of prototypes and, finally, brought them to consumers to try.		Audio System The AM/FM/XM®/CD/MP3 Audio System comes with 6 speakers and includes a subwoofer with an external amp. It also comes with XM Satellite Radio for the best commercial-free radio and a complimentary three-month subscription on us. Plus the built-in iPod®/USB and auxiliary jacks let you access your iPod® through the audio controls, display track and artist information, even charge it as it plays.


Integrated Bluetooth® If you must talk while driving, please do it with your hands on the wheel. The Sonata's standard Bluetooth technology with phonebook transfer gives you hands-free access to your phone with a very handy voice recognition control. Dynamic Duo Sonata engineers decided that instead of creating a 4-cylinder and a 6-cylinder option like the competition, that they would simply get more power out of a better, fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine. The result is two of the most revolutionary engines available: The 2.4L Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine delivers up to 200 horsepower. The 2.0T 4-cylinder twin-scroll turbo engine pumps out 274 horsepower.		Hyundai Dual-CVVT Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) allows each engine intake and exhaust valve to be controlled independently, minimizing emissions and offering substantial gains in power. Paired with the Sonata Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI), they optimize the air intake and boost torque, allowing the 2.4L Theta engine to be miserly with fuel, but not with performance.		Twin-Scroll Turbo The manifold and turbine housing of the Sonata 2.0T twin-scroll turbo is one cast stainless steel piece. This highly advanced design helps minimize lag and is lighter than a conventional turbo engine. Specifically engineered to recover even more energy from the exhaust than a single-scroll turbocharger, the Sonata's turbo improves combustion efficiency, and provides low-engine-speed efficiency.


Traction Control System By reducing wheelspin in various adverse traction conditions, including inclement weather, Traction Control gives more stable and predictable acceleration characteristics for a more confident, controlled driving experience.		Hyundai Brake Assist In emergency braking situations, many drivers may not apply sufficient braking force to achieve the shortest possible stopping distance. Brake Assist helps detect emergency braking and ensures the maximum braking force is immediately applied to minimize stopping distances.		Anti-lock Braking System Emergency braking can cause a vehicle's wheels to lock up and skid, resulting in a loss of steering control exactly when you need it most. ABS helps prevent the possibility of wheel lockup under hard braking, and rapidly pulses the brakes to help you retain steering control as you come to a stop.
